Last night Michael told me the funniest story about an experience that had happen to him at work.
Michael has known his boss, Justin, for years. They even exchange clothing amongst each other. For the past several months Michael has noticed an infant carrier sometimes in Justin's wife's car and just thought maybe Justin's wife was babysitting and that is why she has an infant carrier. Yesterday Justin's wife is in their office and she has a baby with her and she is out in the open changing its stinky diaper. Michael takes Justin to the side and asks "Whose kid is that?", Justin responded "It's mine." Michael had no clue that his boss had a 6 month old baby. That to me is the funniest thing ever. How could you not know how many kids your boss has--especially in Michael's case where he has known Justin for years and been friends with him.
I couldn't believe this story, but it was so funny to me I had to share.

I know I need to post pictures of Remy!
I am sure that is what my family is saying everytime they check out our blog and there are no new pictures. I admit it--when I get home from work I can't stand getting on the computer and so therefore I usually don't load pictures. But I do have new photos to share from our trip to Arizonia and will do it as soon as I get the nerve to get on the computer once i am at home.
Oh another note and this is completly self gloating and I told myself I wouldn't share until I had more success, but I couldn't hold it in anymore. I am proud of myself. I am sitting at work today in a pair of size 6 dress pants. YEP 6, I know Emily Rusch is thinking I just went shopping with you 2 month ago and you were no where near a 6. Well I was so mortified after shopping with Emily (I do love you, but you are like a size -0 and I was definatly not), so I started working out like a crazy woman and I have been running just about everyday for 2 months for about 30-40 minutes. So when I went to Arizona I went shopping and low and behold I fit in a pair of size 6 dress pants. I still have a ways to go, but Michael isn't complaining about the less fat on my body... Ha Ha... My goal is to be 120 by the end of the year and be a nice size 4--the way I was before I got married and had a kid. I think it is dooable, especially if I keep doing what I have been doing and my hubby stays supportive of letting me have 30-40 minutes to myself to workout everyday.

No Eggs, Please!
It's official, Remington is allergic to eggs as well as peanuts and tree-nuts. We found out from the doctor a few days ago. Quickly we are learning to be the parents that ask what everything is made of--so I am apologizing in advance if I annoy anyone with my questioning or if I pout because you made something yummy and didn't think about trying to adapt it so that Remington can have it too. If anyone knows any great recipes that are nut and egg free let me know. I feel so bad when Remington is around other people and he sees them eating things that he can't have but he really wants--like dessert. It is so sad to have to give him a piece of bread when his cousin is devouring a slice of chocolate cake right in front of him--so help I need recipes. I don't' think we should rid the world of chocolate cake (I mean that would be crazy talk), but at least make chocolate cake that is somehow egg free and nut free. I know there is a way, I just have to figure it out.
I am thinking about making a sign for my front door that reads, "Nut free zone--check next door". Ha Ha Ha (I know corny)

Finally a vacation...
Michael and I are in need of a desperate vacation. I know everyone has stress and busy schedules, but it seems like the last 1 1/2 years has been extremly busy and stressful for us. So we decided to actually ask off work and take a vacation--Yahoo! We are heading down to Mesa, Arizona on Thursday for a long weekend of relaxation. I can't wait and of course I will share pictures when we return!
Swimming pool and outlet shopping--here we come!
